"Uh-OH!" cries No-nos as he dumps pudding all over everywhere. It gets much, much worse before it gets better. Trust me.
Owie mixes up some fab green. The fab green that soon ended up in gargantuan splatters all over my freshly mopped kitchen floor. "What a horrible mess!" I said in despair. O came back with, "Mommy, what does a good mess look like?" True, Son. Very insightful. Most messes are unwelcome.
Now that we had a small assortment of colors, Noah got a head-start combining them.
O's orange turned out the perfect shade for Longhorn fans! Hook 'em!
We had to lose the pajamies. After all, they were my favorite pair, and I did not relish the idea of them becoming tie-dyed with decorative pudding. Check out that grin. The Boy is having a blast!
It wasn't long before he realized that this colorful mess tasted pretty marvelous.
Being the generous sort, he wanted to share the joy with Brother.
They even finger paint using completely opposite methods. O is neat and tidy, keeping his colors pure and untainted.
Nosy eventually smeared all of his colors together, mostly in an attempt to shovel as much as he could into his mouth using only his fingers. I honestly think he ingested half of a large box of pudding mix by the time we were through. The old wives' tale is feed a fever, right?
Needless to say, we headed straight to the bath after our experimentation was over. It was messy, but it definitely distracted us from the sicky blues...for awhile.
