XXIX Olympiad a la Halpin

I came in to the living room to find a crew of unruly animals jostling for a front row position to start the up-coming race. "It's the 'Lympics, Mommy. Running!"

What a nail-biter that race was, let me tell you!

In a last second upset, chicken inched past kangaroo to secure the lead. The prize? She was awarded a styrofoam picture of a cow. Definitely worth the stress of the race, wouldn't you agree?

Kangaroo, saddened by her second place finish, won a styrofoam rooster.

Upon closer observation, O discovered that the mommy seal already sported a medal. Maybe she was a previous champion, showing off her history to intimidate the competition?

After seeing how thrilling the race was, Owie opted to take part. Having quite a size advantage over the competitors, he easily pushed his way to the front of the pack. 1.6 seconds later, O emerged victorious without ever breaking a sweat! A natural-born winner, that Boy!

Our makeshift podium. Noah was the silver medalist, and coming in a close third was the yellow inflatable dolphin. Mommy performed the National Anthem. How touching. Noah was moved to tears.

Our proud gold medalist
