Owie popped up out of bed this morning bursting with a very important announcement.
"Guess whose birthday it is today, Mommy! Guess!"
It turns out, it was the day set aside to celebrate the birth of our dear friend Bevo.
Just how do we celebrate Bevo the Beanie Baby's birthday, you ask? I scrambled around in the freezer and found one layer of a cake I had frozen for an emergency such as this. Some pink icing and sprinkles later, we had a party! Bevo was encouraged to invite one friend. He chose Holford, the Dalmatian. Logical choice since they are the very best of friends.
Each Boy got to decorate his own half of a cake.
Nosy ingested so much icing that he barely ate the rest of the day!
Happy, happy Birthday Bevo. So glad you gave a reason to have a party!

It sounds to me like some people in your family just like to party! ;o) How many moms do you know who would celebrate w/ a cake and sprinkles for a stuffed animal?!? You're one special mama and your boys are so blessed to have you.
