The Big B-day

A whole day to spend just celebrating our O. Daddy even took the day off from work! Who could ask for anything more?

We started the day off with gifts. O very generously allowed Noah to participate in the opening process. It is so much fun giving O gifts. With each surprise, he exclaims, "OH! Thank YOU! It is just what I always was wanting!"

A new scooter for O!!

Some assembly was required. All my men grabbed their tool boxes and set to work.

Before long, O was ready to roll.

Owie and Daddy read the new football story that Nosy gave O.

After a bit we headed to the place "where a kid can be a kid." It never gets old!

O's very favorite part of the day was when we took him to The Cold Stone Creamery for birthday ice cream after our Chuck E. Cheese adventure. Yummo! We even ran into Aunt Erica there, making the celebration all the more special.

O was ecstatic when we announced that just this once he could skip his nap altogether. Why would he need to skip his nap? Because all the older guys in The House of Halpin were heading to the driving range to try out O's new real, big boy golf club. O and Jeremy both had a blast hitting a bucket of balls, having some male bonding time.

What a wonderful day to remember! I still can't believe he's FOUR!
