Float Like a Butterfly

In school, we are learning all about magnets and their amazing pull. We have done quite a few magnet experiments, but this one was our fave!

1. Decorate a tissue paper butterfly.

2. Be sure to fill Jones in on what we are working on.

3. Attach a paper clip to the top of your butterfly.
4. Tape a string (we only had curling ribbon) to the bottom of your butterfly.
5. Tape the other end of your string to the floor/table.

6. Wave a magnet over your butterfly. She will rise to meet your magnet!

7. Mommy can sit back and watch her Boys be happily entertained for half an hour.
