Meet Gringy, our green volcano on the very verge of erupting. Can you tell we are all brimming over with excitement?

O chose orange for the lava, "by-cuz hot lava is orange, Mommy."

Owie added the first round of baking soda...and kaboom! The lava started flowing! We were all thrilled!

Daddy assisted Nosy when it was his turn.

He was a bit suspicious of the whole thing.

This was such a fun, easy project to do on a weeknight with Daddy. (He misses out on so much of the fun we have during the day, so it was great to do this after supper.) We wrapped play doh (kind of oldish, dried out play doh because you have to throw it away afterwards) around a tiny tupperware container. Fill the tupperware half way with vinegar. Add a few drops of food coloring. Spoon in 1 tablespoon of baking soda...and be amazed!! We did this over and over again, just adding a little more vinegar and baking soda each time.
