Another Fun Day at the DMA

The theme this month? "In the spotlight." There was to be a real life concert pianist performing. Who needed willing dancers to interpret the music. I just knew Owen would be thrilled, being so musical and all. So we set off with Yaya in tow to experience art at its finest.

We started off in the craft room where we made some very creative bling.
See? Pretty cool stuff!
But we couldn't wait for the concert.

On our way to lunch, we ran into these fine friends. How we love these Guys and we just don't get to see enough of them!
So, when's the concert? We were so excited!

After we ate, O made a beeline for the huge arts and crafts table to wait for the concert. This place is always stocked with fun goodies (like colored tape, cardboard, pipe cleaners, fuzzy fabric, etc.) and the sky's the limit as to what you can create. Little did I know that we would spend the next two hours planted at this table!

That's our funny, funny Yaya!

O took a momentary break from the craft table to do some crayon rubbings, but then scooted right back to his post.

Nosy and I made some rockin' binoculars.

So this is where Owie stayed, all through the much-anticipated, wonderful piano music and sweet dancing. He did not move. Definitely not what I expected of my music lover. Oh well. He enjoyed himself and we ventured home with millions of crafty, unidentifiable objects that remain near and dear to O's heart.

After the DMA, we headed to West Village for Paciugo. Oh so delicious! They even have a couple of sugar free flavors that Nosy can sample.

Check out O's face. He thoroughly enjoyed every single drop of his Paciugo...as well as any left-overs.

So next month?
Maybe we'll see you there?
