Introductions

Now introducing the wonderful Rupp clan!

How warm and welcoming these amazing people were to us! Almost 20 years have passed since I have seen most of this crew (not to mention the many new additions I had never met), and yet they greeted us with open arms and ready smiles. From the very first night, we were accepted and made to feel right at home. We could not have asked for more!

A hallmark event:

These newlyweds win the award for most photogenic! Unfortunately for them, the prize is just some really good snapshots.

I was so sad that a few were missing this year, people I would love to get reacquainted with. Next year, Guys!

Breck: 4th of July

Bring on the red, white and blue.

We had a lot of parading to do!

Theo, Owen and Noah ready to head to the Breckenridge 4th of July parade. Have you ever seen more patriotic guys?

Once there, we had to split up a bit to find places to stand. We ended up separated from the rest of our family, but we still thoroughly enjoyed this small town parade. O quickly caught the knack of begging for candy and left with quite a stash!

Once the sun was right over-head, it got hot in a hurry. Too bad Mommy dressed these Boys for a winter day! The Boys waved and waved those flags of theirs.

Poor Nosy did not feel great, but he didn't want to leave the parade once the time came.

These cowboys fired real guns into the air. I have never seen the Boys jump so high!

After naps, we had tickets to the Breckenridge Backyard Theatre's presentation of "Babe, the Sheep Pig." The theater was darling, so quaint and intimate, and the performance was charming. The kids were enraptured!

Back at home, the dinner team was busy putting together an old fashioned 4th of July feast!

After supper, the "minis" (as the children of the Rupp cousins are called) all dove into the hot tub or "pool" as they referred to it.

Nosy just wanted to dip his toes in. The water was so toasty!

After we tucked all the kids in for the night, the adults played games until the fireworks started. We had the perfect view off of our wrap-around deck. So romantic!
